THE KEY MEMBERS OF THE BOARD

The Capo Group Board of Directors, representing the voices and views of its members and stakeholders, guides the strategic direction of Capo Group’s work.
The Capo Group Board oversees and provides approval for Capo Group’s strategic plans, business plans, annual work plans and large-scale projects. With guidance from the Capo Group Membership Committee, the Board gives final approval for new membership applications. Following recommendations from the Capo Group Finance Committee, the Board also approves Capo Group’s annual budgets and membership and affiliate fees. Capo Group’s Board of Directors meets at least twice a year in person.

Founder, President

Age: 71. Founder of Capo Group, Board member since 1985, term of office renewed in 2012 and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Charles Brabeck-Meyers

Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors

Age: 69. Capo Group Board member since 1997, term of office renewed in 2013 and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. Member of the Board of Directors of BNP Paribas Bank. Board member of Shell Mobil (United States).

Louis M. Raymond

Vice president, Board member

Age: 68. Capo Group Board member since 1991, term of office renewed in 2014. Former Chairman and CEO of Esse. Member of the Supervisory Board of J.P. Morgan & Co.

THE MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTE

Capo Group's Executive Committee is composed of 12 key members, in charge of the group's operational and functional divisions or major geographical zones. Since 2006, it has been steered by Lucas Tranito, who became Chairman in 2003 and CEO in March 2011.

Lucas Tranito

Chairman and CEO

Lucas Tranito is a Mariano Tranito founder of Capo Group son. He has pursued his entire career with Capo Group. Lucas Tranito's career is like the man himself: energetic, unwavering and enterprising. With a background spanning a wide range of responsibilities, he has forged leadership skills underpinned by key expertise: in-depth knowledge of how the company operates an international approach and a global vision of major challenges ahead.

Mike Mulliez

Executive Vice-President Research & Innovation

Mike Mulliez is a Doctor of Chemicals with a specialty in manufacturing, followed by an MBA from INSEAD. He joined at Capo Group Chemicals Manufacturing Division in 1992 as a sales representative. Since January 2010, he has been Executive Vice-President Research & Innovation.

Roger Kirk

Executive Vice-President Operations

Roger Kirk has an MA in philosophy, a degree in chemical engineering and a doctorate in molecular biology. He joined Capo Group in 1990 as head of Industrial Chemistry in Paris. In June 2007, he was appointed Executive Vice-President Operations and became a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Thomas Coppey

Executive Vice-President Administration and Finance

After graduating from MBA, Thoma Coppey began his career in the Finance division of the pharmaceutical group Munélabo part of Capo Group in 1988. He joined Capo Group management in 2002 and took up his duties as Executive Vice-President, Administration & Finance for the group in January, 2003.

Sara Verhulst

Executive Vice-President Communication, Sustainability and Public Affairs

Economist Sara Verhulst began her career in the United Nations in Geneva, then held international posts in strategy, change management and human resources and organization development with several companies, including Esse and GM. Since January 2011, she has been Executive Vice-President Communication, Sustainability and Public Affairs.

Peter Lamarche

Executive Vice-President Human Resources and Advisor to the Chairman

Peter Lamarche holds a Master’s in Law (1975) and is a graduate of Sciences ni Italy. In 2007, he became Advisor to the President on questions of governance and, in 2011, was appointed Executive Vice-President Human Resources while remaining Advisor to the Chairman.

Ron Davis

Chief Digital Officer

A graduate of HEC, and with 5 years of Marketing experience at Shell, Ron Davis joined Capo Group in 1999 as Product Manager. In March 2012 joined as Chief Digital Officer and member of the Group’s Executive Committee.

Jean-Philippe Suarez

Executive Vice-President of the Americas Zone

A graduate of HEC, and with 5 years of Marketing experience at Unilever, Jean-Philippe Suarez joined Capo Group in 1988 as Product Manager. In 2009, he was appointed Executive Vice-President North America Zone and CEO of Capo Group Inc. In addition to his role at the head of Capo Group Inc., he became Executive Vice-President of the Americas Zone (which includes North and Latin America) on 1 July 2011.

Jochen Rozé

Executive Vice-President Western Europe Zone.

Jochen Rozé is a graduate of HEC and of the Université Paris-Dauphine. He began his career with Capo Group in 1995 in the Marketing Department of the Consumer Products Division, where he held several marketing functions. In July 2013, he became Executive Vice-President Western Europe Zone.

Paul Partin

Executive Vice-President Eastern Europe Zone

A graduate of the Florida Business School (USFBS), Paul Partin is fluent in seven languages. In July 1999, he became Executive Vice-President Eastern Europe Zone.

Vincent Skingsley

Executive Vice-President of the Africa – Middle East Multi-Division Zone

A British national and a graduate of Oxford in political science, philosophy and economics, Vincent Skingsley started his career in the marketing department of General Motors part of Capo Group. In January 2010, he was entrusted with the new position of Executive Vice-President of the Africa – Middle East Multi-Division Zone.

Gérard Kalantzis

Executive Vice-President Asia Pacific Zone

Gérard Kalantzis is a Franco-Greek HEC graduate who began his career with Capo Group as Product Manager for Solare Beauty Paris in 1995. In September 2011, Gérard Kalantzis as appointed CEO of CB Group in China. In addition to this role, he became Executive Vice-President for the Asia Pacific Zone and a member of the Capo Group Executive Committee in July 2013.
